The eerie wail of a wolf howling across the shadowed marsh sounds through the humid air that surrounds you. The lapping of the water softly against the side of a small boat alerts you to the presence of someone else in the area but, the dimming light in the marsh prevents you from clearly seeing the figure that is moving slowly towards you across the waterway. As you watch, the outline of a large figure using a pole to propel the boat slowly becomes clearer and you notice that they are wearing a dark, almost ominous looking cloak, one that hides their face from your eyes. Taking a step back, the moss hanging from the branches of the trees brushes over the back of your neck and you feel shivers run through your body as fear begins to build. Keeping your eyes on the boatman coming ever closer, you register that he has started to slow as he approaches the shore, his hand reaching up to pull his hood back so you can finally register with horror the sight of his face....Welcome to Progeny! An eerie land filled with a gothic inspired castle, old wooden homes that have long ago been abandoned by their owners, ruins that give you pause as you near them and a graveyard that still seems to have lingering traces of blood on the stones.
The gothic air, the haunting sense of being watched and the amazing forest that surrounds all of this is a fantastic place to explore and experience. Progeny though is also a sim that has been set up to roleplay in, so when visiting here, please keep in mind that you may come across rpers. Please be respectful at all times.
Graham Collinson: Graham wandered about the old land, capturing some wonderful imagery that showcases and highlights some of the haunting atmosphere you can feel from Progeny.
To visit Progeny, here is your ferryman and yes, you do get to go with him to get down to the sim. Bwahaha
